Overview

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators specializing in Surface Mining operations, including Excavator, Rock Truck, and Dozer operators. These roles require skilled professionals capable of safely and efficiently managing large-scale equipment. Candidates should have a strong background in heavy machinery operation, with a focus on mining environments. Successful applicants will contribute to the safe and productive extraction of resources while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, rock trucks and dozers in a surface mining settings.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist with site preparation, material movement, and extraction processes according to project specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently across the worksite.




- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic repairs when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and operational logs.

Skills

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including excavators, dozers and rock trucks within surface mining environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation in mining settings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team setting.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
