Scholars of Oshawa is currently seeking passionate and dedicated tutors to support students in French from grade 6-12. With teaching materials provided, you’ll focus on facilitating learning, fostering curiosity, and creating a positive, encouraging environment.

As a tutor and mentor with Scholars, you will provide individualized academic support tailored to each student’s needs, while joining a dynamic team committed to making a meaningful difference in every learner’s journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide engaging, individualized instruction using Scholars’ curriculum and materials
- Track and report on student progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adapt lessons to support each student’s unique learning style.
- Offer feedback to improve instructional approaches and program delivery.
- Attend training workshops as required to continue skilled growth.




- Deliver in-person tutoring sessions at our Oshawa location.

Qualifications

- University degree (BA or equivalent), or current enrollment in a university program in good standing.
- Strong proficiency in French & English
- Experience teaching or tutoring students, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
