About the Position
Currently, our company is actively seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Compliance Coordinator. For this role, responsibilities include the following:
- Coordinating and supporting quality control checkpoints throughout the manufacturing process to minimize waste, including overproduction and rejected materials.
- Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of quality assurance procedures to ensure consistently high-quality goods.
- Partnering with Production Staff to communicate quality standards and support performance tracking using established metrics.
- Inspecting final output, comparing it to requirements, and documenting approval or rejection determinations.
- Maintaining accurate compliance documentation and performing statistical analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Monitoring supplier compliance with raw material specifications and communicating requirements as needed.
- Coordinating internal and external compliance audits, and helping implement corrective action plans.
- Staying current on relevant industry regulations and standards, and helping ensure company practices remain compliant.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or a related role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and 6S principles is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables).
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and with external suppliers/auditors.
