Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to support the kitchen team.
- Learn and execute basic cooking techniques under the guidance of senior chefs to ensure high-quality meal presentation.
- Support food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations.
- Help with serving dishes efficiently and courteously to ensure excellent food service experience for guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including washing utensils, equipment, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to uphold a safe working environment for everyone.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your culinary skills and industry knowledge.
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important.
- Basic understanding of food handling practices and kitchen safety standards.
- Experience in meal preparation or cooking demonstrates a strong foundation for this role.
- Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service skills are advantageous.
- A genuine interest in the food industry with a desire to develop culinary expertise through hands-on learning experiences.
