Position: Laundry Attendant (PM Shift)

Report to: Laundry and Logistics Manager

Hours: As required

Location: 7943 43 Ave. NW Calgary, AB

Primary Function: Efficiently perform essential laundry services including operating industrial washers/dryers, folding linens and stocking carts. Ensure all laundry processes meet quality, efficiency and hygiene standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Unload and load industrial washers and dryers.

· Inspect, fold, organize and pack linens (sheets, towels, tablecloths etc)

· Roll/wrap cleaned floor mats.

· Sort articles by type (terry, linen, staff clothing); record totals.

· Inspect all articles for tears, stains, and/or damage prior to washing.

· Identify articles needing stain treatment or rewashing.

· Follow protocols placing damaged/stained goods into discard piles.

· Maintain tidy, organized workstations and storage areas.

· Adhere to health, safety, and infection control procedures.

· Sanitize equipment, work surfaces according to schedule.

Requirements/Experience:

· 5 Shifts per week: 3:30pm-12:00 am.



Shifts are Sunday to Thursday.

· Previous commercial laundry experience is an asset.

· Effective verbal communication skills.

· Time management and productivity focused.

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Ability to stand for 8+ hour shifts.

· Able to lift/carry bundles up to 30 lbs.

· Willing to undergo training as needed.

· Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour
