Class 1 Driver
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

- Operate tractor trailer and/or wheel combinations
- Transport permitted loads safely and on time
- Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing protected driving, hours of service, load securement,

inspections, and maintenance

- Ability to position blocks and tie-downs to secure cargo
- Travel and acclimatize to all types of weather conditions, day or night
- Drive carefully on hills and in adverse weather, managing the vehicle safely
- Adhere to protection rules and policies for transporting, handling, and fuel supply procedures
- Examine goods to ensure they meet all applicable policies, rules, and regulations




- Hold a valid Class A licence with a clean driving record
- Working around heavy equipment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to work rotational shifts in remote locations
- Potential to work longer shifts may be required
