Are you passionate about creating engaging videos and love being on camera? Gibbys Electronic Supermarket is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and creative Social Media Content Creator.

You'll create exciting content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms while showcasing the latest home entertainment and consumer electronics. If you're confident on camera, love social media, and enjoy connecting with people, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content for social media.
- Serve as the on-camera personality for product demonstrations, promotions, livestreams, and company events.
- Develop creative content ideas that align with current social media trends.
- Film, edit, and publish content across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars and campaigns.
- Write and proofread captions, scripts, and descriptions.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend fresh content ideas.
- Represent the Gibbys brand professionally both online and in-store.

Qualifications

- Comfortable and confident speaking on camera.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.




- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, or YouTube Shorts.
- Basic video filming and editing skills using a smartphone or camera.
- Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar editing software is an asset.
- Photography or videography experience is an asset.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning about home audio, TVs, consumer electronics, and smart home technology.
- Knowledge of audio/video products is a bonus but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Previous experience in social media, marketing, retail, customer service, or content creation is preferred but not required.
