Female Live-In Health Care Aide
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced female Health Care Aide to provide one-on-one care for an older disabled woman who is wheelchair-dependent and housebound. This is a live-in position for someone who is kind, patient, dependable, and committed to helping her live comfortably and safely in her own home.

Responsibilities

- Safely assist with transfers to and from her wheelchair.
- Provide personal care, including assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship while respecting her privacy, dignity, and independence.
- Observe and report any changes in her condition.

Qualifications

- Health Care Aide Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' professional caregiving experience with verifiable references.
- Valid non-GDL Class 5 driver's licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Current driver's abstract.
- Current Standard First Aid certification with CPR Level C (or equivalent).
- Up-to-date immunization record, including TB screening (documentation required upon offer of employment).
- Transparent spoken and written English.
- Ability to safely lift up to 34 kg (75 lb).
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Experience providing care for individuals with mobility limitations and using safe transfer techniques.




- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Pets are part of the household, so applicants must be comfortable working around animals.
- This home is not accessible by public transit.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
