We’re looking for an electrical apprentice or Journeyperson Electrician to help maintain and repair our dealership facilities. Electrical work will be a key part of the role, along with general building maintenance and preventative upkeep at multiple locations.

Position Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and professional operation of multiple automotive dealerships across the Greater Calgary Area. This role requires a hands‑on, self‑directed professional with strong general maintenance skills who can respond to day‑to‑day facility needs, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs as required. The successful candidate will travel between dealership locations and always represent Kaizen Automotive Group with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and mechanical work
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or operational concerns
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedules and checklists
- Replace lighting, filters, fixtures,



and other consumable building components
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, storage areas, and maintenance spaces
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors and vendors when specialized work is required
- Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and seasonal tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and service activity
- Travel between multiple dealership locations throughout the Greater Calgary Area
- Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations
- Other duties as required by Leadership

Qualifications:

- Registered 2nd or 3rd year electrical apprentice, or Journeyperson Electrician
- Experience with electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and general maintenance
- Working knowledge of general building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics, carpentry)
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract (required)
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between dealership locations
- Physically able to lift to 50 lbs and perform manual work, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
