SpectacoKids is a multidisciplinary autism and developmental support centre providing ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services to children and families across Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, and surrounding areas. Our approach is collaborative, family-centred, and focused on delivering meaningful, individualized care.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-home speech therapy support to children in the Brampton area.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement speech and language programs developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Deliver 1:1 sessions in the client’s home
- Support communication development (e.g., articulation, language skills, social communication)
- Collect and document session data and progress notes
- Collaborate with the clinical team and caregivers
- Follow all professional and ethical guidelines

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree as a CDA or SLPA (required)




- Experience working with children (required)
- Experience with autism and/or developmental needs (asset)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in home settings
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (required)

Schedule

- Part-time hours (afternoons/evenings preferred)
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs

Compensation

- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications)
