Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Roofer to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on commercial buildings, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate may or may not have prior experience in this trade; however, they must demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new roofing systems on commercial structures according to project specifications and blueprints
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and equipment commonly used in roofing and construction
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to get to job sites within the city
- Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and regulations related to roofing projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Safely handle heavy lifting of materials such as rolls, exterior boards and insulation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in office
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times
