We are seeking a dependable, caring, and organized individual to provide after-school care for two school-aged children. This is a consistent, long-term, part-time position with guaranteed weekly hours.
Location: Dunnville, ON
Hours: Approximately 10.5 hours per week
Schedule
Wednesdays: 2:50 PM – 8:00 PM
- Pick up the children from school.
- Serve dinner.
- Help Child 1 get ready for an extracurricular activity.
- Stay home with Child 2 while a parent takes Child 1 to the activity.
- Empty lunch boxes and prepare lunches.
- Assist Child 2 with bath time and bedtime.
Thursdays: 2:50 PM – 8:00 PM
- Pick up the children from school.
- Serve dinner.
- Help both children get ready for their activities.
- A parent will transport Child 1, while you will transport Child 2 to an extracurricular activity using your own vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed for transporting the children during scheduled work hours.
- Empty lunch boxes and prepare lunches.
- Assist Child 2 with bath time and bedtime.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and nurturing.
- Comfortable caring for two young children independently.
- Able to prepare easy meals and assist with children's routines.
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (required on Thursdays).
- Has previous childcare experience (ECE, education, nursing, childcare, or related experience is an asset).
- Able to provide references and complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Compensation: Starting at $22/hour, based on experience, plus mileage reimbursement for transporting the children during scheduled work hours.
