Structural Design Technologist
At Parsus Engineering (Parsus), we are full-service integrated design consultants who design efficient, sustainable solutions for clients across Canada. Our team values collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a Structural Design Technologist to join us and contribute to our mission.
What You’ll Do
- Design precast concrete building components under the supervision of a professional engineer.
- Carry out tasks related to quality assurance, such as shop drawing reviews and field inspections.
Requirements
- Graduated from a three-year Engineering Technology program at a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Eligible for registration with The Certified Technicians & Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM).
- Able to read building plans and incorporate overall design requirements and specifications into detailed fabrication models and drawings.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a passenger vehicle.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to function in a team-based environment.
- Aptitude for and general understanding of building construction methods and procedures.
- Experience with precast concrete design, as well as Tekla and/or Revit BIM software is an asset.
- General construction experience is an asset.
