Our client is looking for a skilled Multi-Torch Burner Operator to join their team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Multi-Torch Burner Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC multi-torch oxy-fuel and laser cutting equipment to process carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials.

Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC multi-torch oxy-fuel and laser cutting machinery.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, work orders, nesting layouts, cut lists, and production documentation.
- Select appropriate cutting programs, consumables, gases, and machine settings based on material specifications.
- Verify material type, grade, thickness, and dimensions before processing.
- Load, position, and secure steel plates using overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
- Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and quality requirements.
- Perform inspections at various stages of production to maintain accuracy.
- Monitor cut quality and adjust parameters to optimize productivity and material usage.
- Remove slag and perform minor finishing tasks as needed.
- Label, organize,
and prepare finished parts for further processing or shipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs on cutting equipment.

Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fabrication shop environment.
- Experience operating multi-torch burning equipment.
- CNC laser cutting experience an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents.
- Knowledge of oxy-fuel cutting processes and plate processing techniques.
- Proficiency in operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
- Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is an asset.
