Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role involves working in a fast-paced food service setting, utilizing POS systems, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Previous barista experience is preferred. Training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling drinks, managing food items, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Manage cash register operations with accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and dining areas regularly.
- Assist in serving food items when necessary and support team members during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista in the food industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Valuable time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic food safety knowledge and adherence to sanitation standards.
- Ability to perform cash handling accurately using basic math skills.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and general food service operations is desirable.
