As an Evening Crew Member working from 7pm until close, you will be the friendly face that ensures our restaurant runs smoothly during the busy evening hours. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments while handling cash and card transactions with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food contact surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Assist with food handling duties such as stocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely order completion and smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform kitchen-related tasks safely.
