Maan Farms is a family -owned farm and agritourism destination in Abbotsford, BC. Our Fall at the Farm season is our busiest time of year, with daytime farm attractions, food service, retail and our Halloween Fright Festival.
About the Role:
As we prepare for our busy fall season, we’re looking for responsible, motivated individuals to join our team as Team Leads.
Team Leads help keep daily operations running smoothly, support our seasonal staff and ensure guests receive a positive experience. This is a seasonal fall position, with opportunities to continue employment when the farm reopens in spring 2027 and into future seasons for team members who are interested in returning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the team during day to day operations
- Ensure tasks are being completed efficiently and correctly
- Make and manage staff break schedules
- Support staff in resolving guest concerns with positivity and care
- Communicate clearly with both staff and management
- Be willing to train and work in all areas of the farm including retail, check in, food, animals, attractions and more
- Assist management with inventory counts and other key operational tasks as needed
- Help keep operations organized during busy days and evenings
- Lead by example with patience,
teamwork and a positive attitude
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong availability mid-September to November 1, especially weekends and holidays
- Interest in returning to work with us for future seasons is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, problem solve and make decisions in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, responsible and comfortable taking initiative
- Previous leadership, customer service or hospitality experience is an asset
- SIR Certification is a strong asset
