Currently seeking a Construction Labourer / Field installer for our South Edmonton Clients Conveyor belting division. Must possess Valid Class 5 Drivers License. This position would be involved with measuring and cutting various types of conveyor belts, assembling tracks and rollers, assessing/diagnosing issues with clients systems, etc. Must have at least 2-3 years reliable industrial construction exp. Position involves some out of town work (mostly overnight) two or three times a month. All work would derive from south side shop.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assembly and disassembly of Conveyors and refitting and manufacturing belting
- Measuring products and cutting to size, reading basic shop drawings for dimensions
- Using hand and power tools
- Moving materials around site, assembling orders for clients
- Load/Unload trucks with a forklift and overhead crane
- Prepare equipment for repair (basic mechanical disassembly, cleaning)
- Basic customer service
- Provide proper maintenance of equipment and keep work area clean and safe for customers and other employees.
- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per Receiving Procedures.
Requirements:
Strong Measuring skills required (reading measuring tape both metric and imperial) and strong math for measuring various lengths and cuts. Must have ALL the tickets described:

Platform training
CSTS Certification
Class 5 License
Forklift license is a must
First Aid - Beneficial
