About Us

MAXUM FITNESS is a growing fitness equipment retailer specializing in home gym, strength training, and commercial-quality fitness equipment.

We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and knowledgeable Sales Specialists who are passionate about fitness and enjoy helping customers find the right equipment for their needs.

The Role

This is not just a traditional retail sales position.

As a Sales Specialist, you will use your knowledge of fitness, strength training, and gym equipment to understand each customer’s goals, recommend suitable products, and provide a professional experience from the first inquiry through after-sales support.

The ideal candidate is confident, personable, team-oriented, and comfortable handling both sales conversations and customer service responsibilities.

Candidates with personal training experience or a Certified Personal Trainer designation will be given priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with customers in-store, by phone, email, and online
- Understand customers’ fitness goals, available space, and budget
- Recommend suitable fitness equipment based on customer needs
- Clearly explain product features, functions, and differences
- Drive sales through professional and consultative selling
- Follow up with prospective customers and existing orders
- Handle after-sales inquiries, returns, warranty requests, and general customer service matters
- Maintain accurate customer and order information
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom
- Assist with daily store operations and inventory-related tasks




- Work closely with team members to achieve individual and team sales goals

Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Practical knowledge of fitness equipment, strength training, and gym exercises
- Personal training experience or Certified Personal Trainer certification is strongly preferred
- Previous sales, retail, or customer service experience is an asset
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident when communicating with customers
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to manage multiple customer inquiries and tasks at the same time
- Comfortable handling both sales and administrative responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Able to learn product information quickly

Preferred Candidate

- Regularly participate in strength training or gym-based exercise
- Have hands-on experience using fitness equipment
- Have worked as a Personal Trainer or fitness professional
- Naturally enjoy speaking with people and building relationships
- Are motivated by sales goals and customer satisfaction
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
