Shaganappi GM is looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyman General Technician to join our busy and growing Service Department!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Journeyman General Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles efficiently and accurately
- Performing general maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Completing professional video inspections on customer vehicles
- Clearly documenting repair findings, recommendations, and completed work
- Communicating effectively with Service Advisors, Parts, and other team members
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following dealership procedures, GM standards, and safety requirements
- Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-focused shop environment

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will have:





- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician License required
- Red Seal certification required
- Minimum 5 years of automotive technician experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to complete clear, professional video inspections
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
- A neat, organized, and professional approach to their work
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- GM dealership experience is considered an asset

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
