We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laminator Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate and maintain laminating equipment, ensure products meet quality standards, and help keep production running efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate laminating equipment according to job specifications.
- Review work orders and ensure materials are prepared and available for production.
- Monitor product quality, including coating weights, clarity, bond strength, and overall specifications.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Report mechanical problems and downtime concerns to the Production Supervisor.
- Move raw materials and finished products using a Raymond Reach Truck or similar equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company Quality, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing or laminating experience preferred (3+ years is an asset but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and adapt to changing production demands.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor repairs and maintenance.
- Understanding of printing and lamination processes is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet production deadlines and maintain quality standards.
