Responsibilities & Skills:

- Assess and provide intervention for speech, language, and literacy delays and disorders for children ages 1-18, or adults clients needing support with language, fluency and voice - or you can work with all populations!
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients and their families
- Supervise & support with SLP Assistant(s)
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in regular team trainings and meetings
- Open to collaboration and feedback to ensure practices align with clinic's standards
- Experience with teletherapy is an asset

We are committed to helping new clinicians transition confidently into private practice. The right candidate will benefit from:

- One-on-one mentorship with an experienced SLP, including regular check-ins, case support,



and clinical guidance
- A structured mentorship program designed to build confidence in assessment, treatment planning, report writing, and client communication
- Ongoing professional development opportunities, including internal training sessions and access to learning resources
- Hands-on guidance in developing skills for private practice
- Targeted training to help close knowledge gaps and strengthen areas of clinical uncertainty
- A gradual caseload build to ensure a manageable and supportive start

Qualifications:

- Must be: Registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
- Interest in working with pre-school and school-aged children with speech, language and literacy delays and disorders.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bonus but not required: Availability on weekday late afternoons/early evenings; Saturday and/or Sunday

This is a contract position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $85.00-$110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
