In this role, you'll transport freight, equipment, fertilizer, and propane pressure vessels to mine sites and customer locations throughout Northern Saskatchewan while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Hauling

- Safely operate tractor-trailers, Super B units, end dumps, tankers, flat decks, pressure vessels, and other specialized trailers as required.
- Transport general freight, fertilizer, equipment, and propane pressure vessels to mine sites and customer locations throughout Northern Saskatchewan.
- Ensure loads are properly secured, balanced, and compliant with all legal and customer requirements.
- Operate vehicles safely in a variety of weather, road, and site conditions.

Equipment Care & Maintenance

- Complete thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Identify mechanical concerns and report maintenance needs promptly while assisting with minor troubleshooting when appropriate.
- Maintain trucks and trailers in a clean, organized, and roadworthy condition.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

- Follow all federal and provincial transportation regulations, including Hours of Service requirements.
- Accurately complete electronic or paper logbooks, bills of lading, inspection reports, scale tickets, and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to company safety policies, PPE requirements, and cargo securement standards.




- Maintain a strong commitment to safe driving and workplace safety.

Customer Service & Teamwork

- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Represent the company with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service.
- Work collaboratively to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

Qualifications Required

- Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Experience operating tractor-trailers, Super B configurations, tankers, or pressure vessels.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and transportation regulations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

- Experience hauling freight to industrial or mine site locations.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor repairs and basic diagnostics.
- Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs) and fleet management systems.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to climb ladders and safely access trailers and equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs when required.
- Comfortable sitting and driving for extended periods.
- Ability to tarp, secure, and inspect loads as required.
