Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management, and the ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable to enhance our inclusive educational setting.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children through engaging activities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cooperative approach to education
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members
- Maintain organized classroom records, including attendance, developmental milestones, and activity logs
- Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with disabilities or special needs
- Utilize computer skills for documentation,

- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations and best practices

Skills

- Proficiency in English
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation
- Effective time management to balance lesson planning, instruction, and assessment tasks
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s learning experiences confidently
- Writing skills for maintaining accurate records and communicating progress reports
- Computer operation skills for lesson planning software, documentation systems, and communication tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
