UU Family Farm is looking for a friendly, dependable and hands-on Farm Operations & Guest Experience Assistant. This position combines farm maintenance, equipment operation, animal care support and interaction with visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate farm equipment, including tractors and riding lawn mowers
- Drive the farm’s passenger mini train safely
- Assist with lawn care, fencing and general farm maintenance
- Support the daily care and monitoring of farm animals
- Welcome visitors and interact positively with children and families
- Monitor guest safety and help maintain an organized farm environment
- Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure work is completed properly
- Assist with other daily farm operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous farm, landscaping, equipment operation or similar hands-on experience
- Experience operating tractors and riding lawn mowers
- Comfortable learning to operate the farm’s mini train
- Genuinely enjoys working with animals, children and families
- Friendly,
patient and approachable personality
- Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to perform physically active work
- Valid BC driver’s licence is preferred
- Weekend availability is required
