Chapman Burner & Heating has an immediate opening for an 'A' Gas Fitter Service Technician to join our team! Selected applicants will work on industrial and commercial repairs as well as current installations. CBH is one of the most progressive mechanical gas contractors operating within BC. We are industry leaders with respect to industrial and commercial heating repairs and installations. We have recently become SCC Certified and acquired our Inspection Body Certification as well as working on our MA contractor license to add to our license qualifications. Qualifications:

- Class A Gas Fitter License
- Valid BC Class 5 or 7 driver's license
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Solid mechanical aptitude with organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, sketches of work required and maintenance manuals
- Prepare scope of work and order materials for projects
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment




- Ability to handle physical workload
- Able and willing to follow all safety and gas code regulations
- Available and flexible to take on-call after hours emergency work one week per month

This position may require periodic overnight travel to locations within B.C.

Selected applicants will be required to attend training upgrade programs and attend regular safety meetings.
