Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice. This vital role involves managing patient interactions, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients undergoing orthodontic care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of dental and orthodontic procedures, and proficiency with dental software systems such as Orthotrac, Orthoedge, Dolphin. Experience in Itero Scanner, Professional Orthodontic Photos, X-Rays (Lateral ceph and PAN) would be an additional benefit.
Duties and Skills
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new patients, scheduling appointments and explaining treatment options,
- to create an excellent new patient experience and office tour
- Coordinate treatment plans between orthodontists, patients, and other dental professionals
- Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and verifying insurance information
- Educate patients on orthodontic procedures, care instructions,
and post-treatment maintenance
- Manage patient records accurately using orthodontic softwares
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care with good conversion rate.
- Maintain knowledge of current orthodontic techniques, materials, and industry standards
- Support administrative tasks including billing, insurance claims, and follow-up communications and coordination with other dental clinic and specialist offices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details.
