Our client, a well-established organization supporting families and childcare providers across Alberta, is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Processing Administrator to join their team in a professional and service-oriented environment.
This is a contract position from September 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Please note, this is a fully in office role requiring 5 days in-office each week at either the Calgary or Edmonton office.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20/ hour - $25/ hour
Key Responsibilities
- Review, assess, process applications, renewals, and amendments in accordance with program policies
- Review financial and supporting documentation to determine client eligibility
- Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries from parents, guardians, childcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Provide clear guidance regarding program requirements, eligibility, and online services
- Assist clients in navigating online portals and application processes
- Research and investigate application, payment, eligibility, and system-related issues to determine appropriate resolutions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with privacy, security, and information management requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support effective program delivery
- Manage competing priorities and high volumes of applications and inquiries while meeting established service standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in Customer Service and/or Retail Sales
- 2+ years of experience researching and reviewing existing documentation to determine appropriate resolutions
- 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Relevant post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience with government programs, eligibility assessments, or social benefits administration is considered an asset
