About Staffing has partnered with several private properties and organizations west of Calgary to recruit Seasonal Groundskeepers. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes and outdoor spaces.

These opportunities are starting immediately and will run through mid-November to early December, depending on weather and operational needs. These roles offer hands-on work in well-maintained environments where teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are valued.

Positions vary by client but provide the opportunity to contribute to the care and maintenance of unique properties throughout the growing season.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and general landscape care.
- Plant, maintain, and care for trees, shrubs, flower beds, gardens, and green spaces.
- Weed, mulch, water, and fertilize landscaped areas as required.
- Assist with seasonal planting and landscape improvement projects.
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems.
- Safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and storage spaces.
- Assist with greenhouse, garden, or nursery operations where applicable.
- Perform light repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Support seasonal property preparation and cleanup.
- Assist with snow removal and winter property maintenance as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining high standards of property care.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Education or training in horticulture, landscaping, arboriculture, or a related field is considered an asset

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.




- Comfortable lifting up to 50 to 80 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours during peak seasons, if required.

Experience:

Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following:

- Groundskeeping or landscape maintenance.
- Gardening or horticulture.
- Irrigation installation or maintenance.
- Operation of landscaping equipment, mowers, tractors, skid steers, or similar machinery.
- Greenhouse or nursery operations.
- Snow removal and seasonal property maintenance.

Equivalent outdoor maintenance experience will also be considered.

Base Salary: $23.00-30.00/hr

- Compensation will vary depending on the position, experience, and qualifications.

Work Hours:

- Full time seasonal positions.
- Monday through Friday schedules.
- Contracts beginning immediately and running through mid-November to early December.
- Overtime may be available depending on operational needs.

Remote Work:

- This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
