Build the Future of Engineering Production

Zyutec Inc. is an established Canadian engineering consulting firm specializing in electrical engineering, commissioning, and government projects.

We are transforming the way engineering consulting is delivered by integrating engineering expertise, standardized production systems, and artificial intelligence (AI).

We are looking for an Engineering Production Specialist to help build and continuously improve our engineering production system.

This is not a traditional CAD drafting position.

It is an opportunity to become a key contributor responsible for engineering production quality, CAD standards, digital workflows, and future AI-assisted engineering delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and continuously improve company-wide CAD standards.
- Establish drawing templates, title blocks, layers, symbols, libraries, plotting standards and production procedures.
- Produce and coordinate high-quality electrical drawings and selected architectural/mechanical drawings for government and institutional projects.
- Prepare and review critical drawing packages.
- Perform production QA/QC before engineering review.
- Improve production efficiency and drawing consistency across multiple offices.
- Develop engineering production SOPs and best practices.
- Work closely with engineers to improve project delivery quality.
- Participate in the development,



testing and validation of AI-assisted engineering production tools through EC Master Inc.

Qualifications

- Advanced AutoCAD skills.
- Experience preparing construction drawings for engineering or architectural projects.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of production quality.
- Interest in AI, automation and digital engineering workflows.
- Experience with government, institutional or consulting engineering projects is an asset.
- Revit, BIM, AutoLISP, scripting or AI tools are assets but are not mandatory.

Government Projects

Many of our projects are delivered for federal, provincial and municipal government clients.

Candidates who already hold, or are eligible to obtain, the required Government of Canada security clearance are strongly preferred.

Existing Government of Canada Reliability Status or Secret Clearance is considered a significant asset.
