Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to support their development and improve their quality of life. This role requires a robust background in pediatrics and patient care, as well as experience in special education settings. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans and collecting data to track progress.

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children with ASD using ABA techniques.
- Goals: Behaviour management, Self-regulation and expression, Independence
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and create tailored intervention plans.
- Collect and analyze data on patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, including data collection and case management documentation.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, regarding patient care and progress.
- Stay informed about current research in the field of ABA therapy and apply findings to practice.
- Support children in developing social skills, communication abilities, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

- Required commitment: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, 5 or 6 days a week (min 5 months commitment)
- Experienced in working with children,



including those with special needs (ASD), independently and with minimal supervision.
- Must be experienced in supporting a child with perseverative behaviours, low frustration tolerance, sensitivity to change, emotional dysregulation, and hyposensitivity to sensory input.
- Previous experience as an Instructor Therapist (RBT/IT/ABA).
- Comfortable providing services in a client’s home environment.
- Compassionate and family-centered approach, with a commitment to improving children’s lives through evidence-based practices.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

- direct ABA Therapy as Instructor Therapist: 1 year (required)
- in-home ABA therapy (click Yes if almost 1 year): 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- RBT certification or any relevant diploma/degree (required)
