Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service to enhance their shopping experience
- Prepare food items according to safety standards and quality guidelines, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments
- Manage food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell products by recommending popular items or specials to boost sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and retail spaces through regular sanitation and organization
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves,



and monitoring product freshness to ensure availability

Experience

- Prior food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling ensures accuracy in transactions and customer trust
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is beneficial
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience helps in understanding fast-paced environments and customer needs
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, pricing, and inventory counts is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude that fosters repeat business
