Responsibilities

- Safely operate dump trucks on local routes.
- Haul aggregates, asphalt, gravel, sand, soil, and other construction materials.
- Operate pony pup combinations when required.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and required paperwork.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
- Follow all MTO regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and job site personnel.
- Keep equipment clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Valid AZ or DZ driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Previous dump truck driving experience preferred.
- Pony pup experience is considered a solid asset.
- Knowledge of local roads and construction sites.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting.
