Job Overview

The Part-Time Grounds Maintenance Worker maintains the appearance, safety, and functionality of the property's outdoor grounds and building exterior. This role focuses primarily on seasonal lawn care and winter snow removal. Secondary duties include light building cleaning, minor handyman repairs, and coordinating with occasional service vendors

Duties

- Lawn & Landscaping: Mow lawns, trim edges, weed gardens, and maintain overall outdoor curb appeal.
- Snow & Ice Removal: Shovel walkways, clear entryways, apply ice-melt, and monitor winter site safety.
- Handyman & Cleaning: Complete minor building repairs, change lightbulbs, and keep common areas tidy.
- Vendor & Site Check: Inspect the property for hazards and assist visiting service contractors.
- Tool Care: Clean and safely maintain all provided lawnmowers, trimmers, and snowblowers.

Experience

- Experience in landscaping, qualified groundskeeping, or general property maintenance.




- Proven ability to safely operate lawnmowers, line trimmers, and winter snowblowers.
- Basic handyman skills for minor indoor and outdoor building repairs.
- Reliable communication skills to work independently and coordinate with vendors.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in changing weather (heat, rain, and freezing snow).
- Valid driver's license preferred.
