NewGen Cleaning Services is seeking an experienced and dependable janitorial subcontractor or local cleaning company for a recurring commercial cleaning opportunity in Grande Cache, Alberta.

The subcontract includes regular indoor cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, lawn and grounds maintenance, and winter snow clearing. We are looking for a local subcontractor who can provide consistent year-round service and reliable backup coverage.

This is a subcontractor opportunity and not an employee position.

Responsibilities

- Complete scheduled janitorial services outside regular business hours
- Clean and disinfect washrooms
- Sweep and mop floors, stairs, entrance areas, and rubber mats
- Vacuum and spot-clean carpeted areas
- Empty and disinfect waste containers
- Remove garbage and recycling and replace liners
- Clean the staff-room sink and common areas
- Clean entrance windows, partitions, and doors
- Dust furniture, blinds, windowsills, electronics, counters, and other surfaces
- Restock paper products, soap, garbage bags, and other supplies
- Complete quarterly and annual deep-cleaning tasks
- Mow and trim lawns every two weeks during the growing season
- Complete spring cleanup and maintain flower beds
- Shovel walkways, stairs, and entrance landings before required opening times
- Apply ice melt when needed
- Report hazards, damages, access problems, and supply shortages




- Correct cleaning deficiencies promptly and at no additional charge

Requirements

- Commercial or institutional cleaning experience
- Ability to complete cleaning before 8:15 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m.
- Availability for snow clearing before 8:00 a.m.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
- Ability to provide qualified backup staffing
- Own cleaning, lawn-care, and snow-clearing equipment
- Ability to supply cleaning products and required consumables
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written checklists and reporting procedures
- Ability to maintain facility security and confidentiality
- Legally authorized to operate and provide subcontract services in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

- Registered cleaning company
- WCB coverage or willingness to obtain it
- Commercial liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
- WHMIS certification
- Criminal record check
- Experience with public-sector, commercial, or institutional facilities
