McMunn & Yates Building Supplies Ltd., a COR certified leading supplier of building materials and construction products, is currently accepting applications for the position of Class 3 Boom Truck Delivery Driver (with Air) at our Commercial Division in Oak Bluff, MB.

Class 3 Boom Truck Delivery Driver (with air)

Get ready to build your career as we continue to build our company. This is a labor intensive position and is responsible for booming shingles onto rooftops and efficiently placing drywall where required. As a valuable member of our team your duties will also include:

- Completing daily checklists for trucks and equipment prior to start of shift
- Ensure orders are accurately filled, loaded and secured following all safe work procedures
- Loads and unloads building materials including trusses and pallets using a truck mounted fork lift in a manner that suits space requirements and eliminates any damage to materials
- Delivers merchandise to destination following safe job site procedures
- Guides customers through their purchase process in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
- Ensure orders are marked with sales order, purchases order numbers and or customer reference
- Completes delivery tickets with accurate documentation of merchandise delivered with notes of any order shortages or changes
- Performs general warehouse/yard cleanup and help within the yard as required

The successful candidate will:





- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be ready for regular physical labor including lifting, carrying, bending, pushing & pulling
- Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry a minimum of 75lbs
- Drywall delivery experience preferred
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is essential
- Previous Crane/Boom truck experience required including shingle roof top deliveries
- Valid Class 3 drivers license with air
- Be available for week days shifts of 6:00am to 2:30pm
