Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and adherence to safety standards to ensure effective production and product integrity.

Duties

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate fabrication
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on press brake equipment
- Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to verify conformity with specifications
- Assist with material handling using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols related to CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, welding, and machining processes
- Support assembly processes when required, ensuring seamless workflow across departments

Experience





- Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and welding techniques is highly desirable
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and quality inspection procedures
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and other measuring instruments with accuracy
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Prior experience with crane operation or forklift handling is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of machining processes and manufacturing best practices

Pay: $19.04-$30.64 per hour
