Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 309A Electrician Journeyperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code). Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
- Work with low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment to ensure proper operation of complex electrical controls.
- Conduct routine maintenance on industrial and commercial electrical systems to prevent failures and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including frame carpentry and general construction activities related to electrical installations.




- Use testing instruments such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately; ensure all work complies with the NEC standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently while working on construction sites or in operational facilities; prioritize safe work practices at all times.

Experience

- Proven experience as an industrial, commercial and/or residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills and saws; testing equipment like ohmmeters.
- Background working on construction sites or renovation projects with exposure to framing carpentry or handyman tasks is preferred.
- Familiarity with schematic diagrams for industrial control panels and troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
