Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team at a bustling pet care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and providing exceptional care in a fun and safe environment as well as previous experience working in Animal Care. Starting pay is $17.95/hour with an increase to $19.00/hour after probationary period is completed.
Please note that pet ownership alone is not considered as skilled experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs in a group play setting
- Monitor dog behaviour and ensure a safe play environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for daycare clients
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of dog behaviour and body language is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
