- Contributing to Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Delineation and Remediation.
- Reviewing historical records, environmental reports, figures, and tables.
- Plan and execute Excess Soil Management Program in a variety of public and private sector projects.
- Working with Project Managers to plan and schedule fieldwork activities.
- Conducting field investigations and overseeing drilling operations.
- Collecting soil and groundwater samples.
- Reviewing and interpreting laboratory analytical results.
- Preparing reports, tables, borehole logs, cross-sections, and AutoCAD figures.
- Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Applying strong knowledge of health and safety protocols.
- Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Supporting Project Managers, Senior Environmental Specialists, and Hydrogeologists in preparing technical reports.
- Coordinating with the Locates Coordinator to initiate utility locates, and ensuring QA/QC of field work, data analysis, and engineering calculations.




- Preparing detailed engineering drawings according to design criteria and project requirements for geotechnical and environmental engineering projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, and hydrogeology
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Experienced with conducting phased environmental site assessment in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04;
- Excellent attention to details and problem solving;
- A G.I.T and/or E.I.T designation is preferred but is not necessary;
- Strong data evaluation and reporting capabilities and excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- Valid driver license and a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to various job sites in GTA and southern Ontario;
- Ability to multitask and work independency;
- Team player and working collaboratively with others.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
