Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient distribution processes, and lead a team of warehouse associates. This role is vital in maintaining smooth work flow, optimizing warehouse productivity, and upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement and hands on.

Duties

- Supervise daily warehouse activities including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff to meet productivity goals while fostering a positive team environment.
- Conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee forklift operations and heavy lifting activities ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety within warehouse distribution operations.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits; address hazards proactively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to relay updates on workflow status or issues requiring attention.

Experience

- 3-5 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- 1-2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience
- Robust hands-on leadership and sense of urgency
- Experience with WMS, shipping, receiving and inventory control
- Knowledge of WHMIS and TDG
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience operating forklifts; certification preferred
