Job Summary

Daydream Factory is looking for a reliable, outgoing, and customer-focused Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our independent boutique in South Granville. Working two days per week, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, supporting our community of local vendors, and representing Daydream Factory both in-store and on social media. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on camera and is excited to be one of the faces of our brand.

Duties

- Open and close the store independently.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with product recommendations.
- Process sales, returns, and transactions through the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Restock products and assist vendors with inventory management.
- Merchandise displays to ensure products are presented attractively.
- Create Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other social media content during shifts.
- Appear confidently on camera to create engaging videos, and represent the Daydream Factory brand.
- Showcase products, introduce vendors,



and participate in marketing campaigns.
- Support in-store promotions, events, and community initiatives.
- Assist with general store operations and complete other duties as assigned.

Skills

- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Comfortable speaking on camera and creating engaging social media content.
- Confident, energetic, and personable, with a natural ability to connect with people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
- Experience filming and editing short-form videos is an asset.
- Experience with retail POS systems is an asset.
