Sales Representative – Immigration Services Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and client-focused Sales Representative to join our immigration consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with prospective clients, understanding their immigration-related needs, explaining the firm’s services, and converting qualified inquiries into confirmed consultations or retained clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and sales skills, a professional approach, and the ability to build trust with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales and client-relations skills while contributing to the growth of a fast-paced immigration business.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries received through phone calls, emails, social media, website forms, and other communication channels.
- Communicate with prospective clients to understand their general immigration goals, background, and service requirements.
- Explain the firm’s immigration services, consultation process, skilled fees, and general application procedures clearly and accurately.
- Schedule consultations with authorized immigration professionals and ensure clients receive appointment details and reminders.
- Follow up with prospective clients after initial inquiries and consultations to encourage timely decision-making.
- Convert qualified leads into retained clients by presenting the value of the firm’s services and addressing general service-related questions.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, appointments,



and client communications in the company’s CRM or case-management system.
- Assist with preparing service agreements, payment instructions, intake forms, and onboarding materials for new clients.
- Coordinate with immigration consultants and case-processing staff to ensure smooth client onboarding and proper transfer of information.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Support promotional campaigns, seminars, webinars, community events, and social media initiatives designed to generate new business.
- Track sales activities, lead-conversion rates, follow-up outcomes, and monthly performance targets.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle personal client information professionally.
- Ensure that immigration advice, eligibility assessments, and legal opinions are provided only by an authorized immigration professional.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, client relations, immigration services, education consulting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities,



particularly Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, or another commonly spoken language, are considered an asset.
- Strong customer-service orientation with a friendly, confident, and professional attitude.
- Ability to explain service packages, skilled fees, and general processes clearly.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, email, telephone communications, social media platforms, and basic office software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with consultants and case-processing staff.
- Goal-oriented, persuasive, and motivated to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Professional telephone etiquette and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about Canadian immigration programs and the firm’s services while respecting professional and regulatory boundaries.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
