Job Type: Full-time, Fixed-term contract (expected until the end of October, with the possibility of additional work as the business grows)
We are a growing automotive parts business in Hawkesbury looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our team.
This is a diverse position involving dismantling vehicles, cleaning and preparing automotive parts, organizing inventory, palletizing shipments, and general shop and warehouse work. Every day is different.
Mechanical experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work, is dependable, and is willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle vehicles and remove parts
- Clean and prepare automotive parts for resale
- Organize inventory and warehouse storage
- Label, palletize and prepare shipments
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Keep the shop clean and organized
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoys hands-on work
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to work independently after training
- Physically able to lift automotive parts
- Mechanical or warehouse experience is an asset
