Site Superintendent

Medicine Hat, AB | Full time

A well-established design and construction company in Medicine Hat is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team. You'll oversee the day-to-day running of building construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, keeping schedules on track, and making sure every job site runs safely and smoothly from start to finish.

What You'll Do

- Review project drawings, specs, and schedules to spot potential issues before they cause delays.
- Coordinate site logistics — equipment, trailers, temporary power, permits, and signage — so crews can start on time.
- Schedule and coordinate sub-trades, inspections, and testing throughout the project.
- Act as the main point of contact on site for the client, Project Manager, and Project Coordinator.
- Track daily and weekly progress, change orders, RFIs, and site instructions.
- Lead the site's safety program — orientations, inspections, and incident reporting — and make sure everyone follows it.
- Manage deficiencies and close-out documentation through to final inspection.




- Build strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

What You Bring

- Experience supervising commercial or residential construction sites.
- Strong organizational and communication skills — comfortable running a job site and coordinating multiple trades at once.
- Comfortable with computers, smartphones, and day-to-day digital reporting and email.
- A valid driver's license.
- Current Standard First Aid, Ground Disturbance, Fall Arrest, and Leadership in Safety Excellence (LSE) tickets are preferred.
