We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Conveyor Truck Operator to join our growing team. This is not your typical driving position. Our operators play a critical role in placing concrete safely and efficiently on residential, commercial, industrial, and heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a concrete conveyor truck at construction sites.
- Deliver concrete and place material accurately using the conveyor system.
- Complete daily pre-trip, post-trip and equipment inspections.
- Set up, operate and clean conveyor equipment after each use.
- Work closely with dispatchers, concrete plant personnel, customers and site supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance and identify mechanical concerns.
- Follow all Ministry of Transportation regulations, company policies and OHSA safety requirements.
- Represent Niagara Ready Mix professionally while working on customer job sites.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario DZ or AZ Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR record.
- Experience operating commercial trucks.
- Ability to safely operate a manual transmission.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to climb ladders, lift hoses and perform equipment setup and cleanup.

Preferred Qualifications





Applicants with any of the following will be given preference:

- Previous concrete conveyor truck experience
- Ready Mix or concrete industry experience
- Boom pump or concrete placement experience
- Heavy equipment operating experience
- Construction or heavy civil background
- Mechanical aptitude
- Working at Heights
- WHMIS Certification
- First Aid/CPR

Required

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work as required
- Overtime available
- Local work (home most evenings)
