Duties

- Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications and software solutions using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for application development.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different software components and external services.
- Manage database systems including MySQL, SQL Server, and other relational databases to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
- Utilize version control tools like GitHub, Git, SVN to track changes, collaborate effectively, and maintain code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements and respond swiftly to evolving project needs.
- Deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure while ensuring security best practices are followed.




- Maintain Linux-based environments for development and deployment activities, troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Skills

- Proven experience in web development with a strong understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and front-end frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of application development principles across multiple programming languages like Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and C.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as MySQL and SQL Server; familiarity with database design and query optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Strong understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for integrating different systems efficiently.
- Experience working within Agile teams using tools like GitHub, Git, SVN for version control.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems for development or deployment environments.
- Ability to develop software following best practices in security, performance tuning, and code maintainability.

Pay: $57,478.75-$144,092.59 per year
