Support Worker Job Description.

We are a family who is dedicated to planning a better life for our Autistic

son and supporting him to achieve a more meaningful life in the community. As a

Support Worker, you will provide support to him to contribute to his community and to help him learn what he needs to take up his adult role.

1) Literacy /Numeracy support : Support him to learn reading, writing and

typing skills.

2)Support with communication and social skills. Support him to

understood and to consistently communicate what he wants and what he needs .

3) Provide companionship; Support him to go for walk in the neighbourhood and riding a Bike safely.

4) Provide Personal Care: Support him with his routines includes shower,

toileting, Dressing, brushing teeth and feeding, etc.

5)Administer medicines

6)Meal Prep

7) light housekeeping as needed throughout the house not limited to my son

8)Provide Transportation around the community. You MUST have your own car and insurance.

8)Engage him in structured activities such as table tasks and various games

Shifts:

Evening shift ; Tuesday, Friday , Saturday and Sunday

4pm-11pm





Night shift : 11pm-5am (Monday ,Tuesday,Wednesday, Friday ,Sat and Sunday)

Note : Night shift is fully awake shift and rate is 22-25$/hour.

Please Note: My house is smoke and Fragrant free.

Must put on mask and you must be fully vaccinated.

You must have your own car and insurance.

MUST have valid police clearance not more than 6 months older and valid CPR.

Rate based on experience .

You must be commited and responsible .

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- LaSalle, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- working experience with autistic individual: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
