Apprentice Pipefitter

Our client is looking for an Apprentice Pipefitterto join their team across various job sites in Alberta. With over three decades of experience in construction and design-build engineering, our client is a well-established firm committed to safety, quality, and qualified growth. They are expanding their operations and seek motivated apprentices eager to develop their trade skills in industrial and commercial construction. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside a skilled and safety-focused team.

Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and assemble piping systems.
- Install pipes, valves, and fittings according to plans and specifications.
- Join and secure pipe sections using welding, bolting, or cementing techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Perform pressure testing on installed systems.
- Remove and replace worn or damaged components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate equipment such as man lifts and aerial work platforms (AWPs) as required.

Qualifications:





- Registered as a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Pipefitter under the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board (or equivalent trade certification).
- Experience in pipefitting, welding, fabricating, or mechanical fitting.
- Familiarity with operating equipment like man lifts and aerial work platforms (AWPs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliable transportation to job sites.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
