Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist clients with prescribed exercises, as directed
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Document care provided and communicate any changes in client condition
Qualifications
- PSW, HCA, or CCA diploma (required)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up-to-date immunization records
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and qualified attitude
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
